Twice
frozen
There are many less
expensive “twice” frozen products on the market.
These fish are
harvested either from a long-line or trawler, filleted and frozen on
board the vessel. Twice frozen products are caught at sea, frozen
whole and then shipped to China and thawed and processed there, then
re-frozen.
